In addition to being a CivilSchools Speaker and Spanish Language Translator, Olga has worked in the nonprofit sector for over 20 years and has experience creating culturally competent/inclusive environments, policies, and curriculums. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Chicano Studies as well as a Master’s Degree in Non-profit Management. Olga has facilitated classes for youth on topics of leadership, pregnancy prevention, and community organizing.
She also enjoys helping to promote the health and well-being of our community as a ZUMBA fitness instructor and as a parenting and healthy relationships consultant and facilitator at various community-based organizations.
Olga is Otomi/Yaqui from Mexico and grew up in Los Angeles. She is married and is the proud mother of three warrior girls named Citlalmina (14), Ximalma (4) and Xareni (1). She is fluent in English and Spanish.
